LISA MASI

I have always wanted to be a real estate agent!  At 19, I started selling Florida time shares from a New York-based company.  In 1988, while attending College, I started a long career with a commercial and industrial brokerage firm accumulating a wealth of experience in real estate sales, rentals, negotiations, and management.  During that time, I also worked for a local residential real estate agency.

Although I grew up in Astoria, I was drawn to Long Island after meeting my husband-to-be, Nicholas.  After we got married and I moved to Long Island, we started a family (we have two beautiful children, Rita Marie and Nicholas III) and I started working as a full time residential real estate agent.  I have since earned my Associate Broker’s license.  Being licensed to sell real estate for 15 years while allowing me to be a mother in training has been very gratifying.  I have helped so many families realize their dreams, I feel I always learn from each experience.  I truly enjoy helping people throughout their real estate transactions and beyond.

My roots in Suffolk County are very deep.  I originally lived in Lindenhurst and moved to Ronkonkoma when I was still a young kid.  My dad was the Connetquot High School football coach and physical education teacher at Ronkonkoma Junior High School for 30 years and my mom was also a teacher, teaching Special Education students at Sycamore Elementary for about 20 years.

 I have worked for the Bay Shore Marina and countless other businesses on Long Island growing up.  I also attended Suffolk Community College, where I received my Associate Degree in Applied Science.  I became a NYC Police Officer in 1993 and several years later met my wife, Lisa, in 1997.  She is the love of my life.  After seeing how gratifying and challenging real estate was for my wife, I decided to become a real estate agent in 2003.  I have a positive outlook and bring a well rounded understanding of people and their motives, as well as an eye for detail.  My law enforcement background has taught me to be able to work as a team towards a common goal and to achieve results.
